Immersive Scenes

Terms of Use

Version
1.0
Effective
September 15, 2026

These Terms of Use apply to Immersive Scenes websites, accounts, applications, tools, and related services provided by Frederik Stahlfest under the Immersive Scenes name, collectively the "Services". They explain the rules for using the Services and the responsibilities that come with accounts, cloud features, content, and sharing.

Acceptance and scope

Where a Service asks you to accept these Terms, you must agree before using the features that require acceptance. The version and effective date shown above identify the Terms you are accepting.

Some public Website content can be viewed without creating an account or completing a Terms acceptance step. Simply viewing public Website content is not treated as a separate acceptance action.

You must be legally able to agree to these Terms where you live. If you use the Services on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you have authority to do so.

The Privacy Policy explains how personal information is handled across the Services. Acknowledging the Privacy Policy is separate from agreeing to these Terms. Neither action gives consent to optional external media.

Accounts and access

Some Services can be used without an account. Other features, including certain cloud or account-linked features, may require an Immersive Scenes account or a specific access entitlement.

You are responsible for taking reasonable steps to protect the sign-in methods and devices you use to access your account. You should not knowingly share access in a way that compromises account security or circumvents access restrictions.

You are responsible for activity that you intentionally authorize or that results from your failure to take reasonable security precautions. You are not automatically responsible for unauthorized activity that was outside your reasonable control.

If you believe your account or sign-in method has been compromised, you should secure the affected sign-in method and contact Immersive Scenes if the incident may affect an Immersive Scenes account or Service.

Access to a feature may depend on the availability of the relevant Service, your account status, or the access requirements shown for that feature. Having an account does not by itself give access to every feature.

Local and cloud features

Rolltable Manager is local-first and its local features work without an account. Local project content stays in browser storage unless you choose to transfer it, for example by enabling Cloud Sync or sharing an exported file. Importing or exporting a local file does not by itself create a cloud copy.

Cloud Sync and similar hosted features are provided for convenience and continuity across supported devices. They are not a substitute for keeping your own backup of content that is important to you. You should keep exports or other copies when loss of the content would matter to you.

Your content

You keep any ownership and other rights you have in content that you create or provide through the Services. Using a hosted or cloud feature does not transfer ownership of that content to Immersive Scenes.

When you choose a hosted feature, you give Immersive Scenes the limited permission needed to store, copy, transmit, process, and protect that content so the requested feature can operate. This permission is limited to operating, securing, maintaining, and supporting the Services and ends when the content no longer needs to be retained for those purposes, subject to reasonable technical, security, backup, and legal requirements.

This permission does not give Immersive Scenes a general right to publish your private content or use it for unrelated purposes. The Privacy Policy describes the information involved in account and cloud features.

Content & Sharing

You may use content that you create or that you otherwise have the rights, permission, or other legal basis to use. Merely importing, possessing, or being able to access material does not give you ownership of it or permission to redistribute it.

Permission for private or personal use can be different from permission to share, publish, export, or redistribute material. Before sharing content from an Immersive Scenes tool, make sure you have the rights and permissions needed for the way you intend to share it. Preserve attribution, copyright notices, license information, and other notices when the applicable rights or license require them.

You are responsible for content you choose to upload, sync, export, publish, or share and for ensuring that your use does not infringe copyright, privacy, publicity, trademark, or other rights.

Rolltable Cloud Sync maintains a private cloud copy. It does not publish your project for other users to browse.

The acceptable-use rules below also apply to content you sync or share. Immersive Scenes may restrict hosted material or access where reasonably needed to address unlawful, malicious, or rights-infringing use.

Reporting hosted content

If you want to report specific information hosted through an Immersive Scenes Service as illegal or as infringing your rights, your report must identify the affected Service and material precisely enough for Immersive Scenes to locate it and provide a sufficiently substantiated explanation of why you allege it is illegal or infringing.

Include any supporting information or evidence reasonably available to you. Please provide your name and email address where applicable and confirm in good faith that the information and allegations in your report are accurate and complete.

If a report does not contain enough information to identify or assess the material, Immersive Scenes may ask for additional information before taking action.

Where contact details are provided, Immersive Scenes will acknowledge receipt and communicate its decision as required by applicable law.

If the reported information exists only on someone's own device and is not hosted through an Immersive Scenes Service, Immersive Scenes may not have access to or control over that copy.

Reports can be submitted through the Contact page.

Acceptable use

You must not use the Services to:

  • break the law or encourage unlawful activity;
  • infringe or deliberately misuse another person's intellectual property or other rights;
  • upload or distribute malware, malicious code, or content that is unlawful or intended to facilitate harm to others;
  • harass, threaten, impersonate, defraud, or deliberately harm other people;
  • bypass access controls or attempt unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data;
  • interfere with the security, availability, or normal operation of the Services.

Immersive Scenes content and intellectual property

Immersive Scenes includes original materials owned by Frederik Stahlfest, such as music, artwork, writing, software, interfaces, branding, photography, and other creative work.

The Services may also include third-party or open-source materials used under their applicable licenses. These Terms do not give you ownership of those materials.

You may use Immersive Scenes materials as part of the Services, but you may not copy, sell, redistribute, or otherwise use them beyond what the Service, a specific license, or the law allows.

Some materials or downloads have their own license or usage terms. When they do, those specific terms apply to that material.

External services

The Services may link to or integrate with services operated by other companies, such as music, video, or supporter platforms.

If you choose to use those services, their own terms and policies may apply. Immersive Scenes does not control those services or guarantee their availability.

Service availability and changes

As an evolving creator-led project, Immersive Scenes may update, improve, move, replace, or discontinue features as the Services develop, including for technical, security, legal, or important operational reasons.

Where reasonably practical, Immersive Scenes will communicate significant changes in advance so affected users have an opportunity to prepare.

While reasonable care is taken when operating the Services, uninterrupted availability, permanent storage, and error-free operation are not guaranteed.

If a change materially reduces an ongoing paid Service, Immersive Scenes will provide any notice, cancellation, refund, or other rights required by law.

Suspension and termination

Immersive Scenes may restrict, suspend, or end access to hosted, account, or cloud features when reasonably necessary to protect the Services or other users, respond to security or abuse, comply with law, investigate a sufficiently substantiated report, or enforce these Terms.

Where practical, Immersive Scenes will use a proportionate response and limit a restriction to the affected content, project, feature, or account rather than restricting more than necessary.

Where required, Immersive Scenes will tell you why a restriction was imposed and what options are available to challenge or question the decision. It may limit or delay information where this is required by law, an authority, or legitimate security needs.

Restrictions on hosted or account-linked features do not give Immersive Scenes control over copies of content that remain solely in your own local storage.

Disclaimers and liability

Software and online services can experience errors, interruptions, security incidents, or data loss. Immersive Scenes takes reasonable care when providing the Services, but cannot guarantee that the Services will always operate without problems or that stored content can never be lost or corrupted.

You should keep your own backups of content that matters to you and take reasonable steps to protect your account and devices. To the extent permitted by law, Immersive Scenes is not responsible for losses caused by circumstances outside the reasonable control of Immersive Scenes, by misuse of the Services, or by a failure to take reasonable backup or security precautions described in these Terms.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any rights, remedies, warranties, or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including mandatory consumer rights.

Changes to these Terms

The version and effective date at the top of this page identify the Terms currently in effect. Minor corrections, formatting changes, or clarifications that do not materially change the agreement may be made without changing the version.

If Immersive Scenes makes a material change that affects your rights or obligations, it will publish a new Terms version and effective date. Where reasonably possible, affected users will receive notice before the change takes effect.

If continued use of a feature requires acceptance of the new Terms, Immersive Scenes will ask you to agree to the new version before continuing to use that feature.

Changes to the Privacy Policy do not by themselves create a new Terms version or require Terms re-acceptance.
