A dark cave soundscape with flowing water, falling rocks, distant drones, and subtle string textures.
Ambience Of The Dungeon Crypt is a pure mood piece for the darkest underground interiors. Drones of wind and ghostly dark magic form the foundation, while sounds sweep through the stereo field alongside occasional hits from dissonant strings and brass. Scraping, detuned effects and subtle stingers bring movement to the ambience.
The rhythm and melody stay sparse but purposeful. They keep hinting at a climax that never fully arrives, leaving room for your storytelling instead of stealing the scene.

The stone steps lead deeper than expected. At the bottom, the passage opens into a burial chamber where cracked sarcophagi line the walls and dust muffles every footstep. Somewhere in the darkness lies the artefact you came to find, but the silence around it feels wrong. Your gut tells you that something once alive is still moving down here. Soon, you may be breathing in death.
Making this unsettling track was a blast. I had never really been into horror music, so it was a completely new experience for me. It was one of those projects where the ideas just kept coming, even when some of them felt kind of clichéd. I had a lot of fun building and recording awful-sounding homemade instruments from rusty guitar strings and pieces of scrap metal. I also recorded everyday objects and noises, pitched them down, made a heartbeat from scratch with a synthesizer, and played around with tons of reverb. The whole project became a great playground that I will definitely return to in the future.
